How to avoid being cheated when choosing an organic t-shirt!

It is a well-known fact that the demand for organic cotton clothing is growing rapidly. People are willing to buy more natural clothes to protect themselves from harmful chemicals used in some textile processes.

However, some shrewd people are exploiting this weakness to make more money. In other words, how can you trust that the T-shirt you buy is truly organic? Organic cotton has three common uses

a) Use regular cotton and claim to be organic. If people believe what you say, you can make 30% more profit on the same product. So check the labels on the clothes carefully before you buy and make sure you buy from big brands!

b) Buy organic cotton. Fabric from it is made and dyed in the same way as regular cotton. The result is a toxic, chemical fabric that is not organic but 'made from organic cotton'.

c) Buy organic cotton and dye it with dyes approved by organic certification companies and follow their guidelines. This costs more and the final fabric and t-shirt are more expensive, but of course this is healthier. Finally, organic materials are no longer harmful! In this case, you can simply say "organic t-shirts".

Confusing, isn't it? For now, stay away from "made in India" or "made in China" organic cotton products. Right now, the US and Turkey offer much better quality and reliable work.
