What can I put together tonight that is WRONG? What’s a light and fun dinner? Something simple that I can whip up quickly and keep the family full in the kitchen but won’t take ten years to cook.

As I stood there looking in the fridge an idea popped into my head or rather a memory and there I was smiling. I have been wanting to make Naan (flat bread) for a long time. No Indian bread (or Asian for that matter) is more popular. Soft and delicious naan will always put a smile on my face and reminds me of my trip to India with my good friend Yifat

Food in India has its own time waiting for dinner for about three hours is part of the experience (we would bring cards and play) and we always ordered Garlic Naan oh and when it arrived it would arrive hot and fresh and it was so thoughtful -bogglingly delicious!

Naan is similar to pita but softer and generally thicker. Found in Iran Afghanistan Pakistan and course India where it is baked in a tandoori oven (we will do it in a pan!) instead of toppings (the options!) and served hot and high for stuffed for dipping and of course mopping up gravy in Indian dishes (curry YUM!).

Dinner staples in many homes and now yours: no physical access to the Indian experience and your new pastry outing!
